Private Pay Maternity Package

Our Maternity Package is designed to provide you with a comfortable and high-quality experience. The package includes prenatal care, delivery, and postpartum care, as well as a stay in a private hospital, anesthesia services, and pediatric care. It is important to note that each of these services is billed separately, the prices are in U.S. dollars, and they are non-negotiable.

Please review the following forms before scheduling your maternity appointment with Dr. Ruiz.

Enrollment and Payments

To enroll in our international maternity program, we require that you book an appointment. All costs must be settled at the time of your first consultation, and it is important to note that we cannot accommodate patients without a prior appointment. Please keep in mind that we do not offer services on credit.

Maternity Care

In our commitment to women’s health, our medical group strictly follows the guidelines established by the American Congress of Obstetricians and Gynecologists to provide high-quality care during your delivery. Whether you are experiencing a normal pregnancy or a high-risk one, our team has the expertise necessary to ensure the health of you and your baby. It is important to mention that we recommend having a summary of your prenatal care provided by your primary gynecologist in your home country.

Once you are under our care, the package includes the following:

• Biweekly visits from 29 to 36 weeks of gestation.

• Weekly visits from 36 weeks until delivery.

• Up to 4 ultrasounds depending on gestational age and at the provider’s discretion (initial dating ultrasound, nuchal translucency at 12 weeks, ultrasound at 20 weeks, ultrasound at 34 weeks).

• Non-stress tests (NSTs).

• Labor management and hospital visits.

Medical Exams

In the United States, there are certain medical tests required by law during prenatal care. To avoid duplicate testing and unnecessary expenses, it is important that you bring these medical tests from your country of residence with you.

If any tests are missing, it will be necessary to perform them once you arrive in San Antonio, Texas. In rare cases, the results may indicate the need for additional tests to protect your health and that of your baby. These tests, due to their exceptional nature, are not included in the obstetric package and therefore incur additional costs. Additionally, upon entering the hospital, other non-routine medical exams and laboratory tests will be conducted, costing approximately $600.
