Areas of Expertise

Maternity Care

In our commitment to women's health, our medical group strictly follows the guidelines established by the American Congress of Obstetricians and Gynecologists to provide high-quality care during your delivery. Whether you are experiencing a normal or high-risk pregnancy, our team has the expertise necessary to ensure the health of you and your baby. It is important to mention that we recommend having a summary of your prenatal care provided your primary gynecologist.

Once you are under our care, the package includes the following:

  • Biweekly visits from 29 to 36 weeks of gestation

  • Weekly visits from 36 weeks until delivery

  • Up to 4 ultrasounds depending on gestational age and at the provider's discretion (initial dating ultrasound, nuchal translucency at 12 weeks, ultrasound at 20 weeks, ultrasound at 34 weeks).

  • Non-Stress Tests (NSTs)

  • Labor management and hospital visits

Areas of Expertise

Medical Exams

In the United States, there are certain medical tests required by law during prenatal care. To avoid duplicate testing and unnecessary expenses, it is important that you bring these medical test records with you.

If any tests are missing, it will be necessary to perform them once you arrive to your appointment with Dr. Ruiz. In rare cases, the results may indicate the need for additional tests to protect your health and that of your baby. These tests, due to their exceptional nature, are not included in the obstetric package and therefore incur additional costs. Additionally, upon entering the hospital, other non-routine medical exams and laboratory tests will be conducted, costing approximately $600.
